Cattle prices drop in Brazil as meat industry is idle waiting for tests from a suspected mad cow case

The suspicion of a possible mad cow case identified in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais has further paralyzed activity in the country's abattoirs, and consequently the price of live cattle. LATAM must reimburse boarding fees to travelers who did not fly

LATAM will have to reimburse boarding fees to all those consumers who purchased air tickets and for different reasons were unable to travel. The decision is a Collective Voluntary Procedure from the Chilean National Consumer Service, Sernac and is estimated to benefit some 400,000 consumers involving some 600 million dollars.
