Russia's Ambassador to Buenos Aires Dmitri Feoktiskov met with Defense Minister Jorge Taiana to convey yet again his country's interest in selling military equipment to the South American country, it was reported Friday. Read full article

    Can Argentina afford to Fly these aircraft let alone arm them ?. Plus Jets need a lot of servicing between flights something which Argentina has a Poor record of carrying out !

    ‘The final decision also hinges on the country's economic situation as well as its debt to the International Monetary Fund.’

    Neither of those situations show any signs of improving any time soon.

    To date, 14 MiG-35s have been produced — including six tests and eight serial-produced aircraft. Russia has remained the sole operator of the MiG-35, but a variant has been considered for export. Unlikely Argentina will see any of these anytime soon.
