Former Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva and former São Paulo State Governor Geraldo Alckmin were said Monday to have been working on a possible ticket for next year's presidential elections. Read full article
Alckmin and 9-fingered ex-convict discussing plans for 2022.....surprising ? Yes, and No.....
Yes, because the PSDB and the PT have always been political adversaries, Alckmin and Lula have always been arch-enemies....and now .....whodda thunk it ?
No, because 90% of Brazilian politicians are 'physiological', in that that they will chop and change parties, as well as their manifest political convictions, and adapt to whatever situation that guarantees their political survival......in other words, no morals, no sound principles, just a bunch of disgusting liars.
Last time I spoke to Alckmin was at the wedding of one of my nephews - 6 years ago - and I asked him what the PSDB was doing to get rid of the Lulla-thief....his words, we're working on it....now he is cozying up to the ex-convict....as far as I'm concerned, Alckmin is killing himself politically, because those who have traditionally supported him aren't going to accept his move towards Lula.....but let's see if he goes through with it, or backs down to save what's left of his already weak reputation.
“CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou speaks about Sergio Moro and US interference in Brazil
Look at Brazil, look at President Lula, look at Dilma Rousseff, they had no bad intentions against the United States. They were democratically elected in their country and the United States decided: “We don’t like them, we want someone much more on the right”. So, instead of interfering with the election or maybe I should just say interfering with the elections, a program was designed to destroy them and so poor President Lula ended up in prison, President Dilma Rousseff ended up with her reputation destroyed and the world ended with Jair Bolsonaro.
Anyone who has eyes and can read can see the leaks, and can see through their own mouths and their own admission, that they were unofficially involved with the Department of Justice, but not just that, there was more. Messages leaked in which prosecutor Dallagnol referred to Lula’s arrest as a gift from the CIA. And then Jair Bolsonaro and Sergio Moro, the judge who put Lula in prison, made an unprecedented visit to CIA headquarters in Langley, shortly after coming to power with the backing of Wall Street.” https://www.brasilwire.com/cia-whistleblower-john-kiriakou-speaks-about-sergio-moro-and-us-interference-in-brazil/

The source is a whistleblower who (must be an 'extremely' reliable person, so much so that he betrayed his oath, and) very likely only divulged what suited him, in an attempt to discredit Moro (which, without proof, is nothing more than speculation) and the lefty journalist - obviously a Lulla-lover - who wrote that crap.
But the really crappy thing about it, is the fact you lap it up as if it were the Gospel truth.
As the saying goes, there's one born every minute....
But once again Skippy , you clagnut, you contradict yourself .......you are over willing to believe 'one' CIA whistleblower, Mr. John Kiriakou, yet you refuse to believe the 'dozens' of whistleblowers (in Petrobras, and from the contractors), who confessed to their dirty dealings with Lulla, and who submitted loads of evidence and proof which lead to the 9-fingered clagnut's conviction.....not surprisingly, with you, it's always the double standard.....anyone but your leftist heroes can do any wrong....poor deluded Skippy !

I won't now, but I did back then...just a few : links of sites where you could consult e-mails between Lulla's cronies and the CEOs from the contractors (OAS) which took over the completion of the 'tripekis'...
The expensive improvements made at the country house in Atibaia...
The photos of Lulla (plus his wife, 'n son) talking to the CEOs on the properties during the reforms....all the receipts of payments (some huge, 'n in cash) made by the contractors to benefit Lulla, and never reimbursed...and the list goes on and on..
The land ''donated'' by Odebrecht to build the Instituto Lula.....
The flat next door to his in the Condo in SBCampo, and the sets of fake rental receipts - why 2 sets ? because the first was fake, as was the second....
Lulla's claim that the properties he used - as his own, but in the name of front-men - all belonged to a good friend of mine, does not 'stick' (conversa p'ra boi dormir).
The R$ 300 million (US$ 100 million at the time) given to Lulla (on his last day in office) by Emilio Odebrecht, for the former's personal use, kept in a special account within Odebrecht's bribe department....just a wee token of gratitude, nothing else....why ?
Unless I'm mistaken, corruption usually involves two parties, the corruptor and the corrupted - in this case, OAS/Odebrecht, and Lulla - but I can't help it if you are too bloody stupid to understand it or if your head is up Lulla's arse.....
You dismissed the dozens of depositions given by the many whistle blowers (which you never watched), 1st because you don't understand Portuguese and 2nd, because you rely on pro-Lulla sites to get your info.
But the question remains, why believe whistleblower John Kiriakou, and not those that testified against Lulla (and confessed /were punished for their crimes) ?

Lula and Dilma paid ALL of Brazil's foreign debt, made Brazil the third largest creditor of the United States' debt, turned Brazil into the sixth largest economy in the world (overcoming England), removed Brazil from the hunger map, achieved full employment , left 380 billion dollars in foreign exchange reserves and lent 15 billion dollars to the IMF.
....Brazil the 3rd largest creditor of the U.S. debt....

Not really - what really happened, in 2011 - something you should know, but obviously don't - is that Europe, by the beginning 2009, was going into recession as a result of the US's financial crisis of 2008 ; so, as a result of the recession in Europe, 2 years later, Brazil's GDP surpassed the UK's - but only because the UK GDP dropped, not because Brazil's had grown.
And just fyi, that situation didn't last long.
