Malvinas Islands' crest in all Tierra del Fuego sportswear and school uniforms

In anticipation of the 40th anniversary of the Falklands/Malvinas War, in 2022, the Argentine Tierra del Fuego province legislative passed several bills making it mandatory that all teams' sportswear in all the different competitions representing the province must have the Malvinas Islands crest, “and hopefully this initiative will also be implemented by other provinces”.

UK's National Security Advisor says “freedom of navigation” is under threat

Sir Stephen Lovegrove, the UK's National Security Adviser, says the future of the sea “is under threat”. Speaking at the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain, he said “states have chosen to openly contest, selectively reinterpret or discreetly subvert freedom of navigation”.

Colombia-Ecuador border to reopen Dec.1, presidents agree

The Presidents of Colombia (Iván Duque) and Ecuador (Guillermo Lasso), Sunday agreed to reopen the borders between the two countries as of Dec. 1 after they were closed in March 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

German state places unvaxxed under curfew; violence spreads across Europe

The German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg has determined unvaccinated residents will be kept under curfew in three of its districts between 9 pm and 5 am unless they have authorization for work reasons or a medical emergency as COVID-19 cases in the country have been reported to be on the rise.

EU company produces an additive that mitigates methane gas emission in dairy cattle

A Netherlands company has produced an additive that mixed with the feed given to cattle helps to mitigate methane gas emissions and its impact on climate change. Allegedly it is the first product to reach the European market following its approval by the European Food Safety Authority, EFSA.

Voters in the town of Gouldsboro, the state of Maine on the US Atlantic coast have placed a moratorium on large-scale fish farms until at least the next boreal spring. The vote took place during a special town meeting.
