A longtime Argentine friend of our family — who lives in San Juan — had predicted this would occur as the IMF had no reasonable alternative.

He also earlier predicted that the future negotiated deal will also be defaulted by the Argentines…

(This is not just idle speculation — but a predictable certainty…)

Steal a small fortune and they'll punish you dearly — but if you’re Argentina — keep playing the creditors with smoke and feathers — and their elaborate PONZI SCHEME continues like a hellish Berni Madoff nightmare…

Argentina has never truly honoured any agreements. They always default.
They are a country of myst have everything for free and never be expected to ever pay for it.
How much longer will the rest of the world take to finally realise that.
Talk about getting away with it is an understatement.
Meanwhile the hood people of Argentina still live in poverty and suppression.
A lot more will have to change if they want their country to be great again.
The first step is to rid themselves of the regimes that run the country, the ones who are bleeding them dry.

    Falklands-Free

It seems like a dream — but as a youth — I actually thought of studying English literature — although economically our family had been destroyed.

Although Argentina was an imminent threat to my country — including the actual attempted invasion of Chile in 1978 — in retrospect the Falklands War was a blessing for me when I was accepted into the naval academy — and witnessed the war as a cadet.

In a way — Argentina paid for my education — so I should be thankful…

Weather is truly marvelous and today’s le déjeuner is freshly caught sole (lenguado) meunière — which beautifully highlight with the butter, lemon, capers and parsley alongside with sautéed asparagus and cherry tomatoes paired with our favorite Sauvignon blanc.

Ya Turnips should really try to educate yourselves..., at least on the topics you choose to comment on...

    - “However, in 2006 under the leadership of NÉSTOR stor Kirchner, Argentina was able to pay off its debts, thus escaping Article IV IMF surveillance.”

Say what you want — but certainly your dear country has done what many critics have predicted — AND WILL CONTINUE by defaulting again in the near future.

Congratulations — or as some describe: CHUTZPAH

This is my last stay at the beach as next week I return to the farm to prepare for the grape harvest.

The worldwide market place is becoming highly volitive…

Turns out the word avocado comes from the Aztec word āhuacatl, which means “testicle,”
Boy does that explains a lot, along with your other claims.
It certainly explains why you talk a load of bollocks.
“Constipation certainly defines the character of a visibly upset Terence Hill!”
Hardly, the only person here that's full of it is you, and you will remain so.
“Constipation blocking your intestines will be free consuming Avocados”

Sorry to have missed your delightful salutations…

…ma fiancée enchantresses kept me beguiled last night…

Today’s family brunch is a wonderful eclectic smorgasbord — including a marvelous mixed fresh cebiche — including with an avocado and chupe
of beach gathered cochayuyo — accompanied with a cornucopia of fresh fruit and German bread — with Madame’s tangerine mimosas…

It is truly a wonderful weekend before returning to the farm.

Having a conversation about the delicate issue is truly a net—zero sum failure to debate…

    …whether it’s with the vessel classification… ….the esteemed father… …or the bastard himself…

I’ve made my opinion very evident how I personally knew him.

Any case — I’m in a delightful mood and the gypsy women are busily assembling today’s le déjeuner.

Other than cycling with the children and enjoying conversation — my primary pastime will be enjoying the novel “El cuarto de atrás” by Carmen Martín Gaite.

Tomorrow we’re taking our gypsy grandchildren to visit the Humboldt penguin colony located nearby to Cachagua Island nearby to Zapallar.

I hope your day is as pleasant…

    Hermanito...

Difficut to evaluate if my day is near as pleasant as yours...

Yet easy to say that it is way more relaxed than yours, me dear Ex “Leander Class”...

You had once the potential to cross the “Hellespont ..., but you lost your ”guiding light” somewhere...

Today’s exquisite smörgåsbord (take note of my careful spelling) was truly meritorious to phrase as gastronomically epic…

Even the mixed ceviche and grilled octopus with avocado salad will alone be extraordinary…

Too busy to discuss naval tales…

Good thing then Toribio that you didn't follow that arduous youth dream of studying literature...

I lived with the myth — the lore — and the reality…

…although you seem somewhat fixated with your trivial matters…

I prefer to discuss delightful happenings — such as the delightful fact our Schwiegertochter is expecting a new child in March. (You can imagine our enjoyable mood…)

I would not imagine having a better time than yours — but life currently is especially entertaining…

Despite the market challenge — I especially anticipate the upcoming grape harvest!

The immense costs of everything are coming an enormous problem…

Sea freight correlated with petroleum prices are dramatically changing the economy…

Last season’s net profits are today non-workable… …but perhaps will be our family fate for the upcoming table grape market…

(Thankfully our avocado season was very successful!)

We are installing new solar fields in select hillside areas and hoping taxation stays stable…

    We’re ready for cycling a tour…
