Mar 01st, 2022 - 08:27 am - Link - Report abuse +11) If a region is currently part of a country A and wants to be independent or join country B then it is up to country A to judge the impact of territorial integrity. Scotland and the UK, Spain and Catalonia, Ukraine and Crimea, US and Hawaii etc.
2) If a region is deemed as historically a colony, it has the right to self determination and to choose its future, as shown in the Falklands.
There is no international law that says a region must leave its current status, against the will of the people who live there, to join a country for which it has never been a part of.
She aint got a brain cell beyond dollar bills in the family pockets so will never grasp it anyway.
