What time will the Gratitude to the sacrifice of innocent Argentinians event be? Thanks to whom the islanders created the useful figurative piñata to place where their sense of self and integrity should have always been, thanks to which they can today justify their existential sense on? (even if the description of that existential sense is a complete artificial fabrication)
You're the biggest racist pig in this whole show Mr Lorton, you know that?
YES innocence. Innocence because they were ALL thrown into a war they never agreed to nor wanted. The soldiers that went to the islands were Argentine people, and the Argentine people never once so much as entertained the idea of a war against Britain over the islands. The recovery operation was the Junta's covert invention, and you know that very well Mr Lorton. I'm sure you also know the US and UK knew what the Junta was concocting, and instead of making sure they understood NATO would be obligated to act by agreed allegiance, they played sleepy Joe sounding only merely unapproving enough for the Generals to feel they could get away with stomping around the islands a bit. Because war ended up being much more Britain and America's desire and strategically sought call than it ever was the Junta's, and thus much less the INNOCENT Argentine people or their INNOCENT soldiers, who had no choice but to defend the country they were forced to defend with honor. Honor people like you seek to diminish. AND THESE ARE the reasons you are all so hateful in social networks, because deep inside you know the Argentine soldiers were the true heroes of that war, certainly not the British, or the back stabbing British government who went in knowing they opportunistically went to take the islands once and for all while planting an intimidating military base with the duel purpose of drawing out islander resentment based loyalty, and useful oppressive antagonism against a manipulated people and their country, an easy score over a country that was 100 times militarily weaker. We all know the disingenuously fooled Military Junta thought that; just because they were pleasing the US and UK by collaborating murderously against Marxism, their actions would be tolerated and dealt with in its context of the age old territorial dispute over the islands, then London made sure headlines said nothing about the dispute
I'm not an Anglophobe, I'm quite disappointed with the British and have always placed a lot of faith and hope on their culture, that should tell you something. They are however part of a small group in this world of bullying confrontational societies who objectify other countries rather than respect them, who try to use and manipulate other countries rather than appreciate their freedom of destiny, it's just a fact. I criticize my own country just the same, and I would another as well if I had personally lived or been familiar enough with their culture to not assume conjecture of propagandist misinformation about them.
Patrick Edgar Regini, I have never hidden my identity. ... Trimonde is my 26 year old or so, internet handle name. It's the name of a children's character I once created, Trimonde Starrunner. You assume too much.
Hmm the best you can proffer is “They are however part of a small group in this world”.
You cannot refute that both the British and the Islanders are in complete compliance with their UN Charter obligations. That countless treaties and their interpretations all prove the UK both past and present were, and are in complete compliance with international law. As it was, and as it is now.
While your own countries' statements made in your own Congress support the above.
While Argentina has not a single vestige of any of the UK’s claims.
This is not about the Islanders and Britain. It is about Argentina and Britain regarding the assaulting events of 1831 to 1833 events against Argentina, before the Britain started bringing its own people to live on these islands it took from Argentina.

Stop trying to hide inside the mess you got in your head. This is about London and Buenos Aires, not about the Islanders and London.
Additionally supported by Argentine subsequent acquiescence.
The Argentine president Domingo Sarmiento’s Message to the Argentine Congress on 1 May 1869:
“The state of our foreign relations fulfils the aspirations of the country. Nothing is claimed from us by other nations; we have nothing to ask of them except that they will persevere in manifesting their sympathies, with which both Governments and peoples have honoured the Republic, both for its progress and its spirit of fairness.” (printed in: British and Foreign State Papers 1870-1871 (printed London 1877), p. 1227-1228).
