I am extremely happy not being an Argentine citizen and taxpayer. They are waisting so much money on just producing bullshit about the the so called Malvinas. Sending well paid civil servants around the globe trying to fulfill an impossible dream of the Argentine government and establishment, to take control over the Falklands (end two more islands groups in the South Atlantic). But they will not succeed. As little as the Russian Federation will succeed in taking control over Ukraine, or the Peoples Republic of China will succeed in taking control over Taiwan.

They can whinge and moan as much as they want, nothing will change unless the Falkland islanders want it to, stop wasting Argentinian tax payers money on jolly jaunts that will achieve nothing.

“With whom several issues were addressed, including the “decolonization process, particularly the Islas Malvinas question” Is already recognised international law.

”Decolonization (American English) or Decolonisation (British English) is the undoing of colonialism ... The fundamental right to self-determination is identified by the United Nations as core to decolonization, allowing not only independence, but also other ways of decolonization. The United Nations Special Committee on Decolonization has stated that in the process of decolonization there is no alternative to the colonizer but to allow a process of self-determination.”

“the interests of the inhabitants of these territories are paramount”. Exactly. I doubt there is any of the inhabitants of the F.I. who are “interested” in being ruled by Argentina.

    I love this puppet show.

The United Nations, under “Chapter XI: Declaration Regarding Non-Self Governing Territories” of the Charter of the United Nations, defines Non-Self Governing Nations (NSGSs) as “territories whose people have not yet attained a full measure of self-government”

So by being on the list the Falkland Islanders must be a people, and the C24 should be helping them to achieve a full measure of self government.

    Argentina has no say whatsoever.

The authority rests in the hands of the invested parties, not some ad hoc committee.
