Some seven decades ago when the crowing of the princess to become Queen Elizabeth II, Argentine president General Juan Domingo Peron sent as his representative and envoy to the ceremony his vice president, Admiral Alberto Teisaire. Read full article
Interesting, but not surprising. An alleged document (which does not appear in any official British archive) that first appears in a 1984 NY Times article and is lifted by a ghost newspaper and spiced up and republished by this media.
Even if the document were real (which cannot yet be verified) and that what the British official says is what Tesaire actually said (which is unlikely), it does nothing to advance Britain's alleged claim to the Malvinas.

Oh no, the British claim is actual, it exists in reality and is applied on the ground, it is a fact.
What is ‘alleged’, is ‘Bi-continental Argentina’, which in fact does not exist in reality, does it???
Ersatz Stinke
Ahhhh Stinkende, at last, how is Tovarishch Putin’s war against his fellow Rus Slavs going eh???
Destroyed all of Russian speaking/ethnic Russian Ukraine yet, has he???
Ohhh what price liberation eh???
Free Wallmapu, arm the Mapuche, one planter one bullet.
BTW, a ‘lease back’ would mean that the first party has title to sell to the second party, to then lease back to the first party.
It denies the second party has any title, or they would not have to buy it in the first place.
Let’s be honest here, if Argentina were today offered the opportunity to buy the Islands, they would sell everything from their grandmothers to their grandchildren and everything in between including the kitchen sink to raise the money, whatever price was asked.
Because they know, the Pirates have possession, which is 9/10ths of the law.
- As one can read in Maggie's own site..., one of Thatcher's favoured options in 1980 was for you haughty Engrish pirates to remediate yet another of your egregious acts of imperial plunder and return them stolen windblown Malvinas Isles to us Argies and then..., Lease them BACK for 99 years or so to save some imperial face and Kelper diehards...
Oh THINK, you mean the crew of the Sarandi? The Argentine ship sent to claim the islands (which clearly meant they weren't Argentinas before), the crew that mutinied, murdered Mestevier who was sent to be governor and then raped his wife in front of their children.....and were evicted by the rightful owners 10 weeks later......
The mere notion of leaseback required Argentine recognition of a transfer of rights from the UK to Argentina before the territory was leased to the UK.
Remember Ridley in the Islands, November 1980?
Finally he explained his preferred idea: 'leaseback'. This, he suggested, was a workable solution. Britain would formally cede sovereignty to Buenos Aires, and before the ink had dried on that document would sign another, leasing the Islands back for an agreed period, say 99 years. The Falklands' way of life would be maintained and everyone would be happy. Across Ridley's face spread a cadaverous grimace, which was as near as he could get to a smile.” [Invasion 1982: the Falkland islanders’ Story Graham Bound 2007]
... Britain would formally cede sovereignty .....”
We are in agreement and saying the same thing with different words..., copper...
A) That Engrish 1980's offer to lease-back them windblown Isles, is clear evidence that the United Kingdom does have great doubts about its sovereignty over the Malvinas...
B) We Argies have always recognized that you haughty Engrish pirates..., through an egregious act of imperial plunder..., took effective military possession of them windblown Malvinas Isles in the year 1833...
When an Engrishman says...: We have no doubts at all..., he's a Bliar... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_Dossier
(And now..., we have that BoJo Engrishman..., willing to throw Great Brutain under the War Bus..., just to coverup his Covid boozing... Good thing that ducking nobody in the real Europe listens to that clown anymore...)
Speaking of boozing, here's Gauchito Drink, the hard core Peronist National Socialist, whining about the haughty English. His Jefe, Putin seems to be bogging down a bit, so it appears the borracho is back in his cups. Again.
