Given more optimistic prospects for the supply of corn and wheat, Brazil's National Supply Company, Conab, increased, slightly, the estimate for the 2021/22 market year grain harvest. Overall this has meant that Brazil is expected to have a crop of 272.5 million tons of grains in the current season, 6.7% greater than the previous season. Read full article

    By the end of the decade, Brazil will increase grain production by 50%. I hope there are still human beings to consume our food.

    Or the EU insisting Brazil re-forest land to get a trade deal.

    Not to mention Lula may return and wreck agriculture and the economy.

    If you can maintain the current level of production, it will be an achievement.

    Brazil's Agricultural Law has remained unchanged for 52 years. Neither Bolsonaro nor Lula will change the law.

    The issue of financing new crops, undertakings and the acquisition of facilitating materials and machines must be renewed.

    Governments pass.
