High demand makes Iberia increase Madrid-Montevideo frequency sooner than planned
Spanish airline Iberia announced this week that it will be increasing its services from Madrid to Montevideo effective Jan. 1, 2023, due to the high ticket demand that had led company directors to speed up a plan that was originally scheduled for June.

Considerable container freight rate decline from Asia to Eastern South America
The latest S&P Global Monday release on Platts Americas Container Freight shows that non-Asian export cargo bound for the East Coast of South America saw the greatest freight rate decline, dropping 51.9%, or US$ 2,700, throughout the week, to settle at US$ 2,500/FEU.

Five more Type 26 frigates for the Royal Navy: HMS Glasgow to be delivered in mid 2020s
Five more Type 26 frigates will be built for the Royal Navy, the Prime Minister has announced. Defense manufacturer BAE Systems has been awarded a £4.2 billion contract to build the five warships, on top of the three already under construction.
