It was an illegal invasion of British sovereign territory, a shameful act.

Due to England's boycott of arms sales to Argentina, ALL of South America runs the serious risk of equipping its armed forces with Russian and Chinese equipment. Worse: it paves the way for the installation of Chinese military bases or bases shared with the BRICS.

Do you really want to take that risk?

Argentina needs and must update its Armed Forces!

I don't quite understand your point Brasileiro. The formation of military bases on your or your neighbours' territories is your choice, no other country is going to instal a military presence unless you invite them. Why exactly does Argentina so desperately need to strengthen its armed forces ? Who is threatening Argentina? Are any of its neighbours seeking a confrontation? Are any of the BRICS members considering attacking Argentina?
A bit more common sense and a lot less paranoia is what's needed !

The revitalization of Argentine forces is very welcome in this part of the planet. England should not be afraid. England should make Argentina its friend, its ally.

No war lasts forever. Observe, listen and focus on commonalities.

    The rest comes with time!

Some nutter writes: “Argentina needs and must update its Armed Forces!”

    Why?
Which country is Argentina planning to attack this time?

    I'll translate.

Either the blockade against Argentina ceases, or Brazil will not object to Argentina adopting the Eastern philosophy of combat.

Or does anyone think that this has not yet happened by the will of the Holy Spirit?

    Aff

British arrogance and condescension is so hideously archaic and insufferable, it warps the way most of its people think about other countries making it impossible to recognize the necessity of even-plane objectivity when evaluating situations, as they concern other countries. NOT THEM.

Steve Potts, ROFLMAO LOL HAHAHAHA ROLLING AND LAUGHING
It's just stunning reading how you think, so delusional creating your own narratives.
The Malvinas Falkland Islands have never not been a disputed territory, stolen from Argentina by the British at a time the British had never made it their possession.

... and Lanata? Poor petulant snob. Lanata is part of a not so minority class of people up and down Latin America who base the self belief of being better and smarter than the rest of their barely acceptable compatriots, by going against the sovereign patriotic sentiment at the heart of any country's peoples, and falling in line with Anglo European North American thinking, which of course agrees with disparaging our personal sense of worth, as it would be seen also similarly by the rapists of the world, and their contempt for us. They are the clan of traitors who sold out to the devil, and need to huddle with one another apparently high spirited in their vanity and pretensions of intellect in order to avoid feeling the shame they ooze. They are part of an infection very particular to Latin America, and they need to be bleached out of our societies.

“ Imagine tomorrow we recover the Islands,...what are we going to do with them? ”
Exactly the same as they did with chagosians and the people living at port louis on 1833

The arrogance is with you, not with us.

Britain is one of the few countries which voluntarily gave up its Empire, huge swathes of the globe handed to the people who lived there, peacefully and respectfully. The Commonwealth is a testament to that. The French lost their Empire in battle, as did the Spanish and historically so did the Mongols, the Ottomans and the Romans. Only Britain peacefully disbanded.

You judge the Falklands question as a territory grab, it makes you an imbecile. Why would we give up Australia and Canada peacefully yet hold onto some windswept islands in the middle of nowhere if we wanted land.

Indeed in the 1960-70s we wanted to work with Argentina to find a way to extract ourselves from the islands.

    You blew it.

You blew it because the islanders knew you were corrupt liars in 60s and 70s, you blew it when you attacked and lost in the 80s, and you've blown it ever since by lying about the Malvinas myth in every forum and treating the islanders with contempt.

Its your fault Trimonde, you lying, corrupt failed state cannot convince 2500 islanders to chose it over its current status. The day you do, Britain will happily hand over the sovereignty.

But you can't, Trimonde, people like you make the Malvinas dream impossible.

Britain will follow the wishes of the islanders.

No need to translate...we have already understood that you understand nothing and only spout nonsense. That's the result of being ignorant.
