Disclaimer & comment rulesThis reminds us of the cost of vehicle parts such as tyres here in Argentina. In Río Gallegos it is nearly impossible to find some rather standard sizes, but just across the frontier in Chile, in Punta Arenas, there are almost no shortages at all. A 225/75-16 tyre for my Toyota costs about the equivalent of US$180 in Chile but the same tyre, if you can ever find them, goes for about the equivalent of US$400 or more in Argentina. It's insane. It's Argentina.
