However the golden rule about having no rules, is don’t get caught.
The Cubans seem to have been caught out before having done anything. Very bad security for something that should have been top secret.
Actually, the Cubans are well within their rights to allow this Chinese base in their territory, however the same could have been said about the Soviet missiles that were to be stationed there.
In reality if this goes ahead the US will almost certainly apply still more economic sanctions, where Cuba’s economy is already on its knees.
Is the money from the Chinese going to be enough to cover the losses for Cuba?
