WSJ says China plans to install spying base in Cuba

According to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), the governments of China and Cuba signed an agreement whereby the Asian nation will install a spy base on the Caribbean island to intercept communications of all kinds in the United States. Read full article

    Now you’re getting it, well done.

    However the golden rule about having no rules, is don’t get caught.

    The Cubans seem to have been caught out before having done anything. Very bad security for something that should have been top secret.

    Actually, the Cubans are well within their rights to allow this Chinese base in their territory, however the same could have been said about the Soviet missiles that were to be stationed there.

    In reality if this goes ahead the US will almost certainly apply still more economic sanctions, where Cuba’s economy is already on its knees.

    Is the money from the Chinese going to be enough to cover the losses for Cuba?
