Argentina again calls on UK for peaceful solution to Falklands/Malvinas dispute
As announced the Argentine foreign minister Santiago Cafiero on Tuesday morning, in New York, before the United Nations Special Committee on Decolonization again called on the United Kingdom for bilateral negotiations with Argentina for a pacific and definitive solution to the sovereignty dispute over the Malvinas Islands. The matter was settled. There is no real dispute. If there were, Argentina would lobby to have the question put to the ICJ
Jun 21st, 2023 - 11:47 am - Link - Report abuse +4Why are all these Argentines so totally THICK that they cannot even understand what their own constitution now says - they cannot have open discussions with the UK and FI- as the ONLY topic that is allowable under their constituion now is to negotiate and talk about the Date of Full Handover and thus for the Islands to become a Colony of Argentina against the wishes of the people of the Islands, whose ancestors have been here longer in many cases than the south of Argentina has been occupied and developed. Indeed it was the ancestors of many of us who went over and helped found places like Tierra del Fuego- Rio Gallegos etc..
