The man in the picture has been producing fresh vegetables for the Malvinas Kelpers for about ~100 years or so...
The Colonial administration decided to construct a new, big harbour exactly there where he
husbands his veggies...
As usual..., after a long, wearing process..., the administration (colonial or else) ends getting what they want...

Many thanks your clarification for folks. But my wife and I also gain as it means we can now gradually step back towards a retirement- as it became impossible to onsell the business commercially with no land security anymore.
Actually its 35 not 100yrs - but at times seems like 100!
