A good friend of the Falkland Islands and strong supporter of British Overseas Territories, Minister Zac Goldsmith announced his resignation on Friday stating that the British government's apathy on the issue forced his to resign. In an acrimonious exchange, Read full article

Disclaimer & comment rulesI know very little of English politics. And I'm not very interested in knowing either.
Jul 01st, 2023 - 01:26 pm - Link - Report abuse -1I hope it's not a capital loss, because we South Americans would be very happy to rescue the Islands from the perfidious English rule. kkkkkk
The Falklanders rule themselves.

The world would be very happy to rescue the Amazon Rain Forest from the perfidious Brazilian rule.
A global travesty and tragedy.
Good the Falklanders were rescued from perfidious Argentine Rule. That would've been hell.
If you know very little about British politics and the Falklands then why are you making silly uneducated comments about something you know nothing about.? that Russian education you had taught you nothing but hate,

Jul 02nd, 2023 - 12:41 pm - Link - Report abuse -1Do you talk about hate? I ask how many times has Russia invaded UK land? And how many times has the UK invaded Russian lands?
I go further. How many times has the Russian Navy parked ships off the coast of England? And how many times has NATO stationed ships in the Sea of Azov? How many times has Russia supported the IRA (Irish Republican Army)? How many times has the UK supported separatist/terrorist groups within Russia, Chechnya and Kazan for example?
Where is the hate? I say: INSIDE YOU

What on earth are you gibbering on about now, the subject was about a friend of the Falklands resigning, you started the hate calling English deceitful and untrustworthy, and yet its Argentina that pulled out of the treaty that included identifying the dead Argentine soldiers at the graveyard near Darwin, nothing to do with what you are blabbering on about now,
Jul 02nd, 2023 - 01:28 pm - Link - Report abuse -1Russian ships are travelling along the UK coastline all the time, even near the nuclear base at Faslane, your hatred towards the west in which you are part of is pretty pathetic, Britain is not involved in Kazan, or Chechnya or Russia, stop watching Russian propaganda, stop making a fool of yourself with silly comments,
You: that Russian education you had taught you nothing but hate
Jul 02nd, 2023 - 01:34 pm - Link - Report abuse -2I'm talking about something specific that embarrasses me and any reader.
You were unhappy in what you said. Unhappy people usually have some reason to hate. They focus on something, generate a target and end up doing something stupid.
Fix yourself!
Yes, you should be embarrassed about some of the things you post. the UK and Brazil have as long as i can remember have had good relations,I dont see any other Brazilians showing hate to the UK or the Falklanders,
Jul 02nd, 2023 - 01:43 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I don't hate the Falkland Islands. On the contrary, I love them.
Jul 02nd, 2023 - 01:54 pm - Link - Report abuse -1How can someone who hates want to be part of the hated? I want the Islanders to be part of South America. That they live with us, that they dream our dreams, that they have the freedom to sell properties, have children, travel, study, eat, in other words, never again having to go through what the producer of fresh vegetables went through.
I hate the imperialism that countries like UK/USA/EU practice. And I will fight to teach my children, my family and everyone I come into contact with to see the harm and destruction that an Empire can do to us humans from other lands.
Bras. please listen, the Falklands are part of South America, they always have been, Chile. Uruguay and Brazill have no issues at all with the Falklands, Britain gave up its empire years ago, they do not have one or want one, Bermuda , Virgin Isles Falklands and so on will be independent some time in the future, it is their choice, at the moment they choose to be a self governing territory, they can all have independence tomorrow if they choose so, I cant speak for the USA but the UK has no imperialistic claims whatsoever, we have enough problems of our own,
