Chile: Sentences against Víctor Jara's murderers upheld
Chile's Supreme Court Monday sentenced seven retired military officers involved in the Sept. 12, 1973, kidnapping and murder of singer-songwriter Víctor Jara to 25 years in jail, it was reported in Santiago. Those convicted are between 73 and 85 years old and are all at liberty. Read full article

Frankly I'm still in a marvelous mood as my knees still remain undamaged after a sustainable stressed skiing holiday.
I still do consider my health, as life always is uncertain for all of us...
Madame's medical remission is a reminder just how important we all should cherish each day we've been blessed...
You are correct that I do often feel out of place in our in our “pseudo-scandinavia” gypsy encampment and do prefer our humble adobe home instead...
My sincere worries (outside of our family) is the economic crisis we now face due to the stupidity of world leadership.

Anyway my current thoughts are to our vegetable garden plans and the upcoming 18th national holiday.

- I would dare to say that it was waaaaaay more “uncertain” for Victor Jara (RIP) than for Hernán Chacón Soto (RIP) in that September of 1973...
