What I want to know is whether Brazil will overtake Italy, France and England in 2024.

As I foresee the dollar at 4.60 reais at the end of 2024, I believe Brazil surpasses at least Italy, getting very close to France and England.

What about the article, Coxinha? Do you stay in the crowd not knowing if the ball is round or square?

“Currently, ”coxinha“ also has a political meaning, I don't understand why, but in Brazil, a person who supports Trump, for example, would be called a ”coxinha“.”

Stop wandering off the subject and stop talking about military then, you said Brazil will overtake Italy. i disagree they will not, you said they will get close to France and GB (not England) i say they will not, their is no evidence to say Brazil will over take anyone,

Brazil will not dominate anyone. But it will surpass Italy in economic power this year, and France and England in the next.

And I am not even considering the growth of the Brazilian economy that I project at 3% to 2024.

Yor projections are nothing but a wish list of hopes and dreams, nothing wrong with having hopes, but you will not surpass France Italy or GB (not England )in 2024, i hope Brazil does prosper and grow its GDP, improving the lives of millions pf poor people, and in the future may rise in the rankings of wealthy countries but not in 2024 or 2025,

Your desire will not be confirmed, as no western desire has been confirmed in the last 20 years.

The decay of the United States and Europe is happening at incredible speed. There will hardly be recovered from economic activity with increasingly expensive energy, inflation and salary flattening.

Nowadays an American needs to work twice the hours to get half the salary of the 1980s. In addition, the West can no longer follow the BRICS military technology, which are in the light years of rich self-titled countries.

Even from the Houtis the West is taking a beating.

What on earth are you talking about, so much nonsense, the USA and Europe are not decaying at all, it is they who develop high quality infrastructure and equipment, far beyond anything Brazil does. BRICS is nothing, you live in a dream world. the West in which Brazil is a full paid up member is taking a beating from no one, you need to do some research, your words are that of a brainwashed communist, nothing in the post above is remotely true

Brazil is out of the West, Coxinha.

Brazil grows without the presence of any technology from the United States or Europe. Nothing we do, sell or develop has to do with Europe or the United States.

Why do you think we are western? We are the “cucarachas”, the “avoidance”, the “brown”, the “Hispanic” of your world, drumstick.

We are Russians and Chinese. Ethiops and Houstis. Venezuelans and Angolans. Guineans and Mozambicans.

We are not Western. And in your words, we do not deserve to grow if we are not linked to USA.

You are an Iberian surname coward, corrupted by US arrogance.

I do hope these projections materialize, even though a reduced exchange rate will impact me financially. The offset in lower cost of living, labor price and benefit to my friends and neighbors at or near the bottom of the socioeconomic scale more than make up for it. I am pursuing retiree permanent residence in Brazil and my son is looking into the digital nomad visum. Our US life is comfortable, but getting more expensive exponentially. We can hardly afford to eat out any longer and food prices have risen much more than the CPI would have you believe. We were in Europe, Germany more specifically, recently and food and restaurant prices are marginally lower there than in the US, but we could not afford to live or move there either. Besides, Brazil has the nicest culture of all three.

    Brasshole,

2024 has arrived, yet you insist on staying in the past....the past, represented by the infamous period between 2003/2016, and defined by radical lefties and the PT, as “glorious”, despite it having lead to the disastrous recession of 2014....and which the PT has dishonestly, and typically, disowned....their 'mantra' ? “it's the fault of the previous government”.

But let's take a look at some of your 'not-very-intelligent' economic projections (ok, ok, I get it ...you are a person with little or no formal education).

Under the current government - that of your idol, nine-fingers - it is more likely that Brazil remains where it is in the GDP ranking, 'n let's hope it does not distance itself more from the UK, Italy & France, despite the fact it has a larger population than those three countries together.
The commitment by bafoon Haddad, to zero the bugdetary deficit by end this year, is unlikely to be met – especially considering the speed with which nine-fingers is spending/stealing our money).
As you are aware, nine-fingers 'n Janja need a new king-size bed, a new sofa to smooch on (cost abt R$ 150,000), a new presidential plane (R$ 400 million) for lots of international travel - which results in virtually nothing positive for Brazilians - so may I suggest that you, my dear “Mortadela”, start getting used to the idea of crying.

Where did your estimate of Brazil's increase in GDP for 2024 (3 %) come from ? pull it out of a hat ? if we're lucky, it might be half of that.

It is clear that you are not only a radical 'petista', but also a staunch supporter of Hamas ‘n other terrorist groups, and let's not forget the busdriver Maduro, nine-finger's pal....you also probably believe that the Earth is flat, and that the Sun revolves around the Earth...right, numbnuts ?

As to your attempt at being smart, calling people who are educated, successful, and conservative, “Coxinha” (not even knowing why), just demonstrates your level of ignorance.

Bras, you call EDF childish names because you have lost the argument and have nothing left, . you say Brazil needs nothing from the west, Gripen planes from Sweden, tanker plane from France, various other planes from the USA, in your air force, British helicopter carrier in your navy, the list goes on and on, you say Brazil is not the west, that shows what a clown you are, Brazil is a western democratic country in the western hemisphere (the west) how stupid can you be, last time i looked Brazil had about 90 million white people mainly of Portuguese, German and Italian ancestry ,about 90 million mixed race, half European white half African black, you support commie China and dictator Russia like they are your heroes, countries that deny free speech and freedom, you claim the USA and Europe are decaying, zero evidence of that, more nonsense, you do nothing but spew hate speech against anything you dislike, but you are a small minority of the Brazilian population. i quote, (we are Russians, Chinese and so on) no you are not, i doubt 100 people in the whole of Brazil would say such a thing, you do not represent Brazil at all just a silly little kid who knows nothing about politics, economics/finance, geography , history, trade or any thing else for that matter. as for BRICS that you have an orgasm over, lets look at it, India and China do not like each other and have constant border skirmishes, South Africa is declining fast because of corrupt governance, Russia loses more friends and influence as time goes by, Georgia and Kazakhstan being the latest, Putin is an outdated Soviet parasite, we have a saying in the Caribbean , if you cant talk sense then do not talk at all, JB said it .your level of ignorance is astonishing,

    Juan,

You hit the nail on the head. Brasshole's part of the uneducated, ignorant, brainwashed left. He 'n his leftist buddies are the kind of scum that elected the semi-illiterate, resentful nine-fingers.

In his first year in office (of this 3rd term) he done not much more than carry on as if he were still on campaign (criticizing the previous administration is a constant), travelling the country - and the world - trying (unsuccessfully) to promote himself as a great statesman, using the government structure to exact revenge on his detractors (virtually everyone who did not/does not support him), allowing his cheap, slutty wife get her way in everything, and to even interfere openly in government affairs, plus producing nothing which improves the lives of Brazilians. It's all lies and propaganda, which his ignorant voters lap up.

Unfortunately, the Brazilian people have learned nothing from the 2014 recession, 'n seems that they are going to have to suffer a damned sight more until they wake up.

He has created over a dozen new ministries, and like all the others (total of 38), has filled the top positions with people whose only merit is to share his obsolete, corrupt, leftist ideology, which prevails over any hint of technical capacity. Proof ? He indicated dumb Dilma for the presidency of the NDBank (BRICS bank), with a salary of USD 672,000/ year, plus benefits. Perhaps the cost of getting rid of her, in order to avoid embarassment.

The only good news is that the Senate is preparing an amendment to the Constitution, which if approved, will limit the president's term to one, consecutive or not. Of course, the PT has already raised up in arms against it.

The PT has traditionally voted against everything - even when good for Brazil - if it doesn't further their ambition for total power....three examples : they voted against the 1988 Constitution, against FHC's 'Plano Real' (1994), his re-election (1998), against Dilma's impeachment (2016).

“Where is your proof of bias ? Search all you want, you won't find any, just like you won't find anything in the STF site the crook was declared innocent....
Moro's “corruption”....corruption ? total BS, he followed the money trail and found damning proof.

    How about these apples!

The only daming proof is as follows.
”The Supreme Federal Court of Brazil (STF) then decided that all decisions made by Moro in the case of the Guarujá triplex, “including the facts practiced in the pre-trial phase” were null because the magistrate “showed partiality in his conduct. ... “
    https ://en.mercopress.com/2021/03/25/sergio-moro-s-ruling-on-lula-was-biased-says-brazil-s-supreme-court

    null
    ADJECTIVE
having no legal or binding force; invalid:
“the court ruled that the contract contained several infringements and therefore declared it null and void”
    synonyms:
    invalid · void · annulled · nullified · cancelled · abolished · revoked · rescinded · repealed · null and void

    What a classic under-statement.

Brazil’s Federal Audit Court has asked the Attorney General to freeze presidential pre-candidate Sergio Moro’s assets. The court (TCU) says that the law firm received more than R$40 million ($8 million USD) from companies he convicted in Operation Lava Jato, and with whom he negotiated `LENIENCY AGREEMENTS` a month from Odebrecht e Ativos (former agro-industrial company), BRL 150,000 from Galvão Engenharia, BRL 97,000 from from OAS and R$ 115 thousand monthly from the Enseada Shipyard.”
    https ://www.brasilwire.com/alvarez-marsal-moro-federal-audit-court/

Extortion, I rest my case, leniency agreements!

”Totally ignoring what you can't explain...such as the R$ 6 billion returned by convicted thieves” such as how he is without evidence, culpable for others acts?
