The ‘South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone’ is irrelevant here as it does not include the Falklands or any other British territory in the region.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Atlantic_Peace_and_Cooperation_Zone

‘The South Atlantic itself is currently not a nuclear-weapon-free zone but all member states are currently signatories of international treaties that prohibit nuclear weapons, namely the African Nuclear Weapons Free Zone Treaty and the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean. However, several Mid-Atlantic Ridge islands, the British overseas territory of Saint Helena and its dependencies Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha, and Norway's Bouvet Island are not covered by those treaties. In addition, the Falkland Islands are not covered by these treaties as a British Overseas Territory.’

Same as minister Diana Mondino claiming that the South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone ‘have pronounced in favor of Argentine sovereignty rights and the resumption of bilateral negotiations’.

They have not, they only support the resumption of negotiations and nothing else.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story, eh!

It is not a popularity contest. No matter how much support Argentina has, only the Islanders can decide their future.

And as for this supposed support, there has been no UN resolution since 1988.

    The matter was settled.

    Brazil is irrelevant.

Lula may consider it politically savvy, but he has just rebuffed Brazil's oldest ally. He better hope it doesn't come back to bite him

Please explain how lack of resolutions for 35 years validates Argentina's non-existent claim
to their imperialist ambitions in the South Atlantic.

You mistake “the UN” for the C24 sub-committee.

The C24 sub-committee for Decolonization is charged with putting forward proposals to the UN General Assembly to pass resolutions.

If the General Assembly does not pass resolutions then the C24 opinion is irrelevant and not the view of the UN.

The C24 is packed with corrupt and failed states, most with false agendas and their own land grab aspirations. They are unable to get any of their perverse recommendations through the general assembly.

Therefore the only Directive for the non-self governing territories is the principle of self-determination.

Indeed when Argentina proposed that the right of self determination did not apply where a sovereignty dispute existed for a NSGT it was voted down by the General Assembly.

    So no inheritance from Spain
No Usurpation or eviction in 1833
No special case from the UNGA

Any more myths to be repelled?

“There is not need of new resolutions.. the UN already made it clear”

They did through the UN Charter article 73.
“UN Charter; DECLARATION REGARDING NON-SELF-GOVERNING TERRITORIES; Article 73; Members of the United Nations which have or assume responsibilities for ..peoples have not yet attained ..of self-government recognize the principle that the interests of the inhabitants of these territories are paramount, ..b. to develop self-government, ...”

    Article 1
The Purposes of the United Nations are:

2 To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and ...

    Article 55

With a view to the creation of conditions of stability and well-being which are necessary for peaceful and friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, the United Nations shall promote:

That's why international law surpasses them.
UNGA resolutions are not international law, merely advisements.“There is not need of new resolutions.. the UN already made it clear”
