Here in Brazil we have a saying when someone terminally ill experiences a small improvement: The Visit of Death.

We can compare it with the current situation of the dollar. It is valued, it is devalued. The FED (USA Central Bank) tries to lower interest rates on treasuries, tries and tries, to bring some order to the collapse of the North American debt, but, unfortunately, it is not succeeding precisely because when interest rates drop, liquidity disappears, stranding hundreds of billions of dollars on the shelves of banks and the FED itself.

With dollars stranded due to lack of a buyer, financing the monstrous North American public deficit becomes a mirage, putting the maintenance of the Empire's Status Quo at risk.

It becomes necessary to increase, or at least keep high, interest rates to obtain liquidity, to be able to sell the dollars that are so necessary to finance the North American state machine.

Until a few years ago, the liquidity of securities was not a concern. The dollar represented almost 70% of the foreign exchange reserves of the world's countries. Today this percentage has been reduced to 59%, with a downward trend in the coming years.

It is interesting to note that the longer interest rates remain high, especially on 10-year treasuries, the more monstrous the North American public debt becomes.

Here in Brazil we have a saying for this: The Dog Chasing Its Tail.

Right on que Braz, yet another tirade on the imminent collapse of the west and the inexorable rise of the BRICSGHJKLZXCV group and the global south.

Funny that your predictions never seem to come true, quite the reverse in fact.

This time it’s ‘liquidity’ you’re talking complete rubbish about.

Has it not occurred to you that if the US can’t manage its debt that this would bankrupt China and collapse much of the rest of the world’s economy?

Especially in the global south, which would be devastated.

We're fine. You're the one who's in trouble. It looks like they're already at war again. I heard the Houthis attacked again. Some military bases that stole oil from Syria and Iraq were blown up. No one died. They said.

What will be the new focus of war? We Brazilians? Tell me about it.

Anger at fools is another saying we have in Brazil. This saying refers to yourself!

More silly nonsense from Brasileiro, the Houthis are terrorists and pirates, is that what you support ? terrorism and piracy affects the whole world and you should be ashamed that you are supporting them,

    Braz
You keep saying the west is ‘in trouble’, but there is no sign of it happening anywhere anytime soon.

But Brazil is not ‘fine’, your commodity exports to China are about to collapse and what you do manage to sell will be paid for in un-spendable and therefore worthless Yuan.

As for the Huffies, just look at this guy their official spokesman:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rB9KL6Pom5I

Off his head on speed or similar drugs and wearing women’s underwear way, way too tight.

Now Iran has to re-stock the Huffies missiles as well as Hezbollah and supplying the Russians, unfortunately for the Iranians only the Russians pay for them.

The only purpose for the strikes is to degrade the Huffies capability to attack shipping in international waters, a very limited objective but nonetheless not so easy to achieve, more strikes are inevitable.

Considering Yemen already has widespread starvation and 90% of its food supply is food aid delivered by sea, ultimately they could make Yemen a place where people go to Gaza for their holidays, for nice a break.
