A study was conducted recently by Arab World for Research and Development (AWRAD) among Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank, and the results are profoundly depressing.

AWRAD is funded by multiple Arab governments, by the UN and by the World Bank amongst others, so their results can’t be lightly dismissed. Curiously, AWRAD has taken down the English version, though the Arabic version is still up. But you can still read the original here:

Public Opinion Poll - Gaza War 2023 - Tables of Results
    https://web.archive.org/web/20231116194135/https://www.awrad.org/files/server/polls/polls2023/Public%20Opinion%20Poll%20-%20Gaza%20War%202023%20-%20Tables%20of%20Results.pdf.

    * Rejection of peace and reconciliation:
The great majority are against peace with Israel on any terms:
75% support the October 7 massacre.
    85.9% reject coexistence with Israel.
71.1% are committed to the restoration of “historical Palestine” as a final resolution.
74.7% support the creation of a Palestinian state “from the river to the sea” as the only acceptable resolution of the conflict.

    * Support for terrorism:
There is almost universal support for terror:
76% believe that Hamas plays a somewhat to very positive role
84% believe that Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) plays a somewhat to very positive role
79.8% believe that Fatah’s terror wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, plays a somewhat to very positive role
88.6% believe that Hamas’ armed wing, the Al-Kassam Brigades, plays a somewhat to very positive role.

“Hamas is not Palestine - why should the ordinary people suffer when all they want is peace?
Clearly, this is the product of bias and wishful thinking. This study shows that ongoing violent conflict is precisely what the majority of Palestinians support. And Lula is wrong casualties: about 40% of those killed in Gaza are recognizably terrorists, according to the IDF, but it's difficult to tell who is who when terrorists wear civilian clothes and use children as human shields.

It looks like the English version of the poll has been removed from that page also.

Palestinians support attacks against Israelis, Israelis support attacks against Palestinians, the cycle becomes self-sustaining.

Neither side is yet thinking of any kind of compromise.

I'm encouraged by all the educated previous comments.

As Pugol as said, “Neither side is yet thinking of any kind of compromise.”

Unfortunately, I suspect that it will all get worse. The link is to “Our World in Data”, and shows populations of Israel and “Palestine” from 1950 to 2100 [United Nations median projections]. Expect populations on each side to double, and pressures on land and water will likely grow accordingly.

    Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
    - This Anglo Brainwashed Turnips are getting more and more brainwashed by the minute...!

    - The first one links us to a non-existing URL..., includes the word “Terrorism” a few times in his “quotes” about that non-existing URL..., and finishes giving us the “TRUE” version of “REALITY”..., courtesy of the IDF ( Israeli Destruction Force... :-(

    - The second one finds out that the above given URL is “Non-Existing” and gently provides us with a “Non-Working” link...

    - The third one blames both sides for being some real Turnips..., but is perfectly happy for his Anglo Country to fully assist one of the sides to implement the Final Solution” (Endlösung) for that Semite Sandniggas cousin's quibble...

-The fourth one (a Shilanglo... ;-)..., is “Encouraged by all the Educated previous Comments”... :-0

The fifth one..., is just a “Cynic”..., being..., well..., as Cynics are...

    Capisce...?

The despicable terrorist attacks by Hamas against Israel, was unforgettable.

In a Jewish country that never seems to agree with their own policies, there is today a unified determined mission to completely destroy Hamas from the Gaza strip.

I agree of Israel's right to defend itself in line with the sad humanitarian situation in Gaza.

My long-term accountant has two of his grandsons currently serving in the IDF, and I think Israel will eventually will prevail.

The Shilanglo is very sad about the conflict...

Turns out, as recent developments have shown, that UNRWA is/was mostly funded by the western countries.

It’s the Anglo countries in particular that are/were keeping the ‘Semite Sandniggas’ alive, well, when the trucks are allowed through.

Begs the question what the M. Eastern countries are doing?

And just to be clear, whatever you call this Israeli action, from genocide to self-defence, it is not and nowhere near a ‘Endlösung’ or ‘holocaust’, if it were the death toll would be in the several hundreds and not few tens of thousands.

And the use of such highly charged and emotive comparisons demonstrates the inherent bias and political ideology of the commentator.

Israelis and Palestinians ultimately bear the responsibility for this situation and for resolving it, much as both like to blame outside influences.

And there will be no clear winner from this, just more of the same.

    Chicureo, Pugol-H,

Just for the record, to add to nine-fingers list of brainless declarations, he now says he didn't use the word 'holocaust' during his speech in Ethiopia..... he said,“what's happening in Gaza with the Palestinians has never existed in any other moment in history....well, it did, when Hitler decided to kill the Jews”....

A distinction without a difference......sounds like nine-fingers has no clue what words mean, or imply.

Meanwhile, we carry on living in what nine-fingers (correctly) described as a “relative democracy” (in which free speech is being curbed - by government and the Supreme Court - and many from the opposition are being persecuted, simply for being opposition)...

Brazilians are slowly but surely finding out what he means by 'relative'...
