    Falklands announces fees to change for applications for British passports

    Adult passport (34 pages): Current cost of £127.79 (inclusive of administration and carriage costs), will increase by £8.00 to £135.79

    UK National Living Wage up from £10.42 to £11.44 an hour; will apply to workers over 21

    The minimum wage set by the British government, known as the National Living Wage in UK is rising from £10.42 to £11.44 an hour and will apply to workers over 21 rather than over 23, benefiting some 2,7 million low paid workers. Younger workers will also see a rise in the rates that apply to them.

    Brazil: Travelers from US, Australia, and Canada will need a visa starting next week

    The requirement has been reinstated out of reciprocity since Brazilians need to go through the same process to enter those countries

    Holders of US, Australian, and Canadian passports will be required a tourist visa to enter Brazil by air, land, or sea, effective next Wednesday (April 10), Agencia Brasil reported. Under Decree 11.875/2024, the initial Jan. 10 deadline was extended for three months to avoid the negative consequences for Brazil's tourism industry during peak season.
