Argentina farmers targeting a 2024/25 wheat crop of some 18,6 million tons

The US Department of Agriculture, Foreign Agriculture Service, (FAS) estimates that Argentina wheat production from the 2024/25 crop will reach an estimated at 18.6 million tons, up from 15.7 million tons in 2023-24. Planted area increased to 6.2 million hectares with improved conditions in April and May encouraging farmers to plant more than their original plans. Read full article
