Trump signals beginning of US Golden Era under him
Donald Trump announced that January 20, 2025, marked the beginning of the United States' Golden Era because during his new term in office great achievements lay ahead, such as the US flag flying on Mars together with energy independence, immigration reforms to tackle the inflow of illegal aliens, as well as the end of woke ideas whereby -for example- there are other genders beyond male and female. Chic, look at things objectively with Trump. last time in office, he said he would bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. he didnt, even more left, he said he would re open the mines, he didnt, he said he would stop the world laughing at the US, he didnt, he said Mexico would pay for the wall, they didnt, he does not understand how trade tariffs work, they hurt the consumer more than the manufacturing country. who will also retaliate, giving another un costed tax cut to the wealthy will not help the rest of the population, he appointed judges to the supreme court who voted to take away a womans rights on her own body, he said he would drain the swamp. he made it larger. he wants the debt limit banned, not a sensible thing at all, i disliked Biden and Obama but they did start an economic recovery, the next 4 years are going to be interesting that is for sure, if he achieves only half of what he says he will do then i will congratulate him, if i am still around, I agree 100% with bushpilot,

As to his place naming this reminds me of another country further south.
Trump has now decided that “The Gulf of Mexico” is now “The Gulf of America” just like the country further south keeps renaming the “Falkland Islands” as “The Malvinas”. As we all know Argentina is wrong and so is Trump. But whatever you want to call a place at home is fine as long as the rest of the world can use whatever name is globally accepted.

Meanwhile life for our family is a blessing, including the addition of our sixth grandchild.
Our recent avocado crop was excellent, and our upcoming table-grapes are looking very promising.
Fruit and vegetables from our family garden and orchard, have become wonderful this season. Sweet garden corn, a wide variety of tomatoes, lettuce as well the tree fruit, is so delicious to enjoy.
