Maybe the Argentines are beginning to realise that it is better to make peace not war. Anything is possible if their is the will. The claim has always been a myth. The indoctrination has always been real. Time now for the people of Argentina to finally accept the truth. The Falkland Islands have and will always be British period.

FF, Many Argentinians have no interest in the Falklands, nothing more than few thousand fanatics that keep the lies and obsession going, Zit and 1833 are just 2 of them, they do not see reality or the truth, it may take 1 or 2 generations but Argentina might just grow up when the fanatics have popped their clogs,

Esteban Domingo Fernandez. I truly believe that one day Argentina will move on and the whole of the South Atlantic Region will begin to flourish and grow. We see so much that is so wrong all over the world created by fanatics and their greed.
The world would be so much better living in harmony with each other.
I would love to still be around when that day happens in Argentina, where life not only for the people of the Falkland Islands will be better, but that of all those oppressed people of Argentina. They have suffered much more than we islanders have.
    Greed never pays.
Trading with each other has far more positives than the current system of enforced embargoes and selfishness.
One day surely that must change for the better. The world is a changing place and real life threats are not about what each other can afflict upon ourselves but the evolution of the very earth will devide our ultimate future and that is where anyone with ny common sense would be directing their energy.
At the end of the day we are all humans with a common goal.

Finally, an Argentine in an important role who realizes that the sovereignty myth is just a leftist narrative to distract fom past governments' domestic failures.

When i see the idiotic posts from the Argentinians on this website it actually does give hope for the future, as all Argentinians cant be that stupid or brainwashed, one is immature and racist, one spits vile and hatred and conspiracy theories,, another one gets all excited over the word colony, another one is living in a deluded dream world thinking Argentina will get the islands, but the saddest one of all is the one who knows the truth but can not accept it, may be another 50 years before reality kicks in, i too have spoken to about a dozen Argentinians, and not one of them is remotely like that 5, in fact half of them are sick to death of it, the other half are realistic and said the matter is settled, and its their own fault that it is, if and when the oil industry takes off their could be some great opportunities for the Argentine people, good paid jobs, and good for their economy, I am sure their President also knows the reality but he can not say out out loud, as he would get accused of treason by the lunatics, may be future generations will be more grown up, lots of posters seem to be leaving this site now, i can understand why too,

Like how Mercopress reports “ appointment causes stir ” then goes on to name no one but talks in generalities “ some ” lol

Try finding anything about this on main stream news outlets in Argie land or anywhere else for that matter its a non story

The Arg senate always votes on ambassador appointments and always there are votes against whoever it is, nothing unusual about that

The average arg is too busy trying to survive the economic onslaught currently taking place whether that be a good thing or not is irrelevant. to worry about who has sovereignty over some far away islands.
I get the idea that this article is to give the usual suspects chance to comment lol

wishful thinking but other than a token defence force in the south west atlantic the bulk of the armed forces could be redeployed in the defence of europe which is going to be needed following the more home defence stance being adopted by the usa.

Milei doesnt care about the Malvinas myth. It is a lie based on a myth based on a falsehood.

It will take a long time for the brainwashing to fade, but this is another step in the right direction.
