Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva pointed out that his country would rely on fossil fuels to finance the transition to clean energy. He made those remarks during a contract signing ceremony with Transpetro and oil companies Rio Grande and Mac Laren. Read full article

Who are these environmentalists who don't want Petrobras to drill wells 500 km, 500 km, 500 km away from the mouth of the Amazon River?

I hope that Greenpeace and similar NGOs go and make some noise in Suriname and Guyana, which are already exploring for oil in the Amazon Basin! Before that, if they come close to our territory, they will be arrested and deported!
