    Falklands Government convenes a Telecoms Assembly for Tuesday 25th March

    Attendees will have a change to ask questions and contribute to the future of telecoms in the Falklands

    The Falkland Islands Government (FIG) is inviting residents to a public meeting on Tuesday, 25th March, from 5pm until 6pm, upstairs in the Town Hall.Cambridge Management Consulting is conducting a second visit to the Falkland Islands to support FIG in shaping the future of the Telecoms Program.

    UK Ambassador in Uruguay ok after falling from horse

    The United Kingdom's Ambassador to Uruguay Malcolm Green was reported to have sustained only minor bruises and a head injury after falling off his horse during the Patria Gaucha parade in Tacuarembó. He was initially treated at a local facility, where a CT scan ruled out any serious physical damage, and later transferred to Montevideo for further treatment at the British Hospital.

    Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Flávio Dino Sunday added a nail to Congresswoman Carla Zambelli's legal coffin by voting in favor of sentencing her to five years and three months in addition to losing her seat in Parliament for the illegal possession of a firearm and illegal restraint with the use of a firearm, Agência Brasil reported.
