The City Hall of Tolhuin in the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego -which technically includes the Malvinas (Falkland) Islands and the other British Overseas Territories claimed by the South American country- filed a tax execution lawsuit to dismantle a radar installed by the British company LeoLabs in the area, citing violations of local regulations and national sovereignty. Indeed, just to keep the 1982 banner flying. The company in question is from the USA: https://leolabs.space/about/ Surely some UK money went into the capital to get this great project going, it is in everybody's interest. Would not surprise me that even Argentina has invested in this company, as they are now also part of the space age? On top of it, this gear only looks up... And, what happened with the Gov of the TdF, he put his signature under this project...
