Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been discharged from DF Star Hospital in Brasilia, three weeks after undergoing complex abdominal surgery for an intestinal blockage stemming from the 2018 stabbing during his electoral campaign. He has been hospitalized several times since then, undergoing up to 6 surgeries. Doctors described his most recent procedure as the most complicated.

After 17 days in intensive care, Bolsonaro recovered on a liquid diet and left the clinic in stable condition, greeted by cheering supporters. The 70-year-old retired Army captain plans to join a demonstration in Brasilia on Wednesday to support an amnesty bill for those convicted in the Jan. 8, 2023, coup attempt, which he is accused of leading. Bolsonaro faces trial by Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court (STF) for allegedly masterminding the revolt to stay in power after losing the 2022 election to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

According to Bolsonaro's latest medical report, he has improved positively, “with no pain, no fever” and “with blood pressure under control.”

“What hurts the most is to see innocent people with sentences of up to 17 years in prison,” Bolsonaro told journalists and supporters in front of the hospital. “Some say that amnesty is forgiveness and that what happened is unforgivable. But there was no bloodshed, no firearms, nothing,” he added. “I return home renewed. My next challenge: to join the Peaceful March for Humanitarian Amnesty on Wednesday, May 7,” he wrote on X before leaving the hospital. “Thank you, my God, for that miracle,” he also posted.

    Time to answer the courts.
I suggest that he is called in to answer the questions on Wednesday.
I am sure that they will need all day at least for the questions to be answered
