Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva condemned on Sunday the reduction in financial aid for environmental, economic, and social causes from wealthier countries to the poorer nations, highlighting a 7% drop in Official Development Assistance (ODA) in 2024, while military spending increased by 9.4%.     Well, he certainly likes to spend other people’s money, no mention of what Brazil is, or will contribute to the costs of all this.

    Not even a pledge to limit never mind reduce Brazil’s GHG emissions.

    The man has a very distorted view of the world, to say the least.

    I find President Lula's statements about the environment ineffective. No one cares about the environment these days.

    We are close to a nuclear catastrophe. We want to know about long-range missiles and drones that can destroy the environment of our enemies.

    And with very low-tech methods.

    No need for complicated, high-tech, long-range missiles if you’re only firing at targets inside Brazil!
