One miner killed, five still missing in Chile

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake at around 5.30 pm Thursday triggered a collapse at the El Teniente copper mine in Chile’s O’Higgins Region, killing one worker and injuring nine others, with five of them still missing Friday afternoon. The incident occurred 1,200 meters underground in the Andesita project. The fatal victim has been identified as Paulo Marín Tapia. Read full article
