I would like to express my solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones. That being said, I am here. I just don't have a formed opinion on this police action.
It's a complex situation. I think a Constitutional Amendment should be approved to put an end to substandard housing in environmentally risky areas (hillsides) by providing decent housing and quality public transportation in more suitable locations, even if they are a little further from the urban centers of large Brazilian cities, including Rio de Janeiro.
