I think he was actually saying that the only reason for the Malvinas claims is to distract the population of Argentina from all the other problems they are facing. I believe that he was telling the Telegraph that the rest of the world can just ignore the prattling on as it is purely for home consumption.
Milei knows the truth but has to occasionally come up with the Malvinas garbage to placate the lunatic indoctrinated fanatics, or he gets accused of being a traitor,
He is spot on. Argentinas claims are non-negotiable. We wont negotiate them. The only way to Argentine sovereignty is the consent of the islanders, which they will not give.
