Disclaimer & comment rulesSo, they must sell the oil to the US at a US fixed price, no doubt cheaper than the current Canadian heavy crude, despite the greatly increased transport costs and then spend the money in the US.

Jan 09th, 2026 - 06:57 pm - Link - Report abuse 0They have to keep abreast of what's happening within Venezuela, especially since it is still teeming with Maduro and Chavez supporters, the very same people who plundered the country and literally starved the population. Thousands of Venezuelans abroad want to return to their homeland, but they need time to relocate. Only then should elections be held. And the crude will be sold at market prices, which appears to be pretty transparent to me.
