The French Football Federation (FFF) announced on Monday that it will file a complaint with prosecutors over racist posts by Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla directed at France captain Kylian Mbappé, and called for judicial proceedings to be opened. Read full article

Actually, her comments do somewhat represent her country's fans behavior, as I personally witnessed. On the other hand her observation on the racial make up of the French team is obviously correct. That, in itself, is not necessarily racist. The same can be said about the entire NBA and almost all of the running backs in the NFL. A racial dominance in a sport may have a variety of causes and black players need not be stereotyped for representing their country.
