  Criminal complaint filed in London regarding sale of Argentine ID document

  

  LONDON, UK – A criminal complaint was filed this week with the Metropolitan Police in London regarding the sale of Argentine veteran of the 1982 conflict, Edgardo Esteban’s identity document. The complaint refers to the sale of his ID document by a London auction house and then trading website which according to the complaint is illegal as it was stolen property.

  Falkland Islands and “39 years of peace and progression” on the anniversary of the Argentine invasion

  

  The Falkland Islands Government (FIG) issued on Friday a statement on the 39th anniversary of the Argentine Operation Rosario that “shattered” the peace of Falkland Islanders, marking the beginning of the 1982's Falklands War. “This amphibious invasion marked the beginning of the unlawful occupation of the Falkland Islands, which sought to obliterate every Islander’s fundamental human right to live in a self-determined, democratic society,” the statement continues.

  Lufthansa to repeat historic trip to Falklands

  

  Lufthansa will on Tuesday repeat its longest-ever non-stop flight as it flies an A350 from Hamburg to Mount Pleasant Airport in the Falkland Islands, according to aviation industry website Simple Flying. The German flag carrier first flew the route in January 2021 with a flight clocking in at 15 hours and 36 minutes.
