Two veterans of Falkland War decided to hand their medals back in protest against what they claimed was a lack of support for troops emotionally wounded by battle.

Sir Robin Christopher, former Ambassador in Jakarta and Addis Ababa has been appointed as new Ambassador in Argentina. He will replace William Mardsen who is retiring from the diplomatic service and will be leaving Argentina next month.
Sir Robin Christopher will take his post next November.
