  Great day at Volunteer Point.

  The controversial Argentine pilot, 49 year old Martin Rappallini spent all of Thursday in the Falklands viewing 3 species of penguins, including the rare King Penguins at Volunteer Point. Accompanied by his 2 daughters Maria Eliana and Maria Paula they took numerous photographs of the penguins while also admiring the beautiful scenary at the special wild-life area. The overland journey took 7 hours in all, much of the trip over boggy grass track.

  The Armada of Chile confirmed that it located the English ship with nuclear residuals when it was navigated at 650 miles to the east of Comodoro Rivadvia city, in Chubut, informed the Ship Captain, Hugo Barra, Public Relations Chief of the force.

  New Chairman for Falkland Islands Trust.

  The new Chairman of the Falkland Islands Trusts (FIT) is Air Commodore Peter Johnson, OBE, BA, FIMGt, former Commander of British Forces in the Falkland Islands (CBFFI) in 1994 and 1995. He succeeds Captain Paddy Vincent CBE, RN (ret), who was born in the Falkland Islands.
