  Reappointments made to the Marine Management Organization Board

  

  Solicitor, Falkland Islands former Attorney General and SAERI Chair Peter Judge MBE, together with David Lyall have been reappointed to the Board of the Marine Management Organization. MMO has a wide range of responsibilities, which include implementing plan-led marine management, licensing marine works, and managing UK fishing fleet capacity and UK fisheries quotas.

  DBRS ups Uruguay's credit rating

  

  Canadian rating agency DBRS Morningstar upgraded Uruguay's foreign currency sovereign debt score from BBB Low to BBB as a result of Montevideo's “substantial improvement” in the country's fiscal outlook, it was reported Tuesday.

  Former South African President ordered back to jailhouse

  

  Former South African President Jacob Zuma has been ordered back to jail after the Supreme Court overturned his medical parole earlier this week. Zuma had been sentenced to 15 months in jail for refusing to testify in a government inquiry into a corruption case.

  Eight people killed in Medellín air crash

  

  Eight people were reported dead after a light aircraft crashed in a residential area after declaring an emergency following takeoff at Medellín's Olaya Herrera Airport, the same air terminal where famous tango singer Carlos Gardel and his band were killed in an airplane crash on June 24, 1935.

  Fourth Kirchner government climax, 12 month food inflation at 100%

  

  The basic food basket, CBA, in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego province, Argentina soared 9,5% during October while the overall food basket, CBT, 9%, according to the latest figures from Indec, the country's stats office. This is 50% higher than the inflation rate for the month of October which stood at 6,3%.
