    Argentine navy's school vessel, tall ship ARA Libertad arrives in London on Friday

    ARA Libertad with all her sails displayed. She will be open to visits in London over the weekend

    Next Friday, Argentina's Frigate A.R.A. Libertad, the navy's school vessel will dock in London after 17 years. Under the command of Captain Romay, the arrival of one of the largest and fastest tall ships at the docks of South Quay in Canary Wharf will mark the half-way point on the 48th midshipman training voyage.

    ARA Libertad docks in Southampton: Open Day on Friday and Saturday

    The flagship of the Argentine navy with 61 midshipmen on board arrived in Southampton as part of a world tour

    Argentina´s navy frigate and tall ship ARA Libertad dropped anchor in Southampton on Wednesday as part of 46th midshipman promotion world tour which left Buenos Aires last March. Ambassador Carlos Sersale di Cerisano received the flagship of the Argentine Navy, while the whole operation was transmitted live from the embassy in London.

    The Frigate “Libertad” arrives at Southampton next week

    Frigate ARA Libertad will be calling  Southampton, on July 26th.

    On 26th July the Frigate ARA Libertad will arrive at Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal, Eastern Docks, Berth 38, in Southampton, where the Argentine Ambassador to the United Kingdom R. Carlos Sersale di Cerisano will welcome the crew of 27 officers, 187 non-commissioned officers and 61 training officers. In her role as Ambassador of the seas, the vessel carries a message of peace, friendship and a will to build bridges with the world.
