Argentine authorities said on Monday they had identified suspects in the shooting death of a British tourist killed in an armed robbery attempt outside a luxury Buenos Aires hotel over the weekend.
The British citizen killed in Buenos Aires Saturday during a robbery has been identified as the 50-year-old millionaire Matthew Charles Gibbard, who was travelling with his wife Suzane, his stepson, Stefan Zone, 28, also shot in the incident and still hospitalized, and other family members.
One British tourist was killed at around 11 a.m. Saturday and his son was injured outside Buenos Aires' luxurious Faena Hotel in the fancy Puerto Madero area as they were attacked by motorbike snatchers, it was reported.
