Bloomberg has reported that the United States began selling soybeans to Brazil after the Chamber of Foreign Trade (CAMEX) temporarily suspended import tariffs for corn and soybeans. This is a rare event that can be explained because Brazil has taken the lead in the production and export of the oilseed.
Automobile production in Brazil fell 0.6% in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the same period last year, the national automakers’ association said on Thursday, as an economic crisis in Argentina continued to weigh on output.
Car and light truck sales in Brazil went up 13.6% in 2018 from the previous year, cementing the industry’s gradual recovery from a deep recession.
