Someone in Britain became €190 million (US$208 million) richer on Tuesday when they won the maximum EuroMillions jackpot, the lottery company announced.
A couple from Northern Ireland have made a list of 50 people with whom they intend to share their £115m EuroMillions win. Frances and Patrick Connolly, who live in Moira, County Down, matched the winning numbers in the New Year's Day draw. It is the fourth biggest UK EuroMillions win and the biggest in NI.
A builder found the winning ticket for a £76m EuroMillions jackpot tucked in the visor of his van six weeks after the draw. Andrew Clark, 51, had a stockpile of lottery tickets in his Peugeot van.
