  Brazilian Air Force ready for new evacuations from Middle East

  

  Brazil's Air Force (FAB) said Sunday that it was ready to rescue nationals of the South American country living in the Middle East and whose lives or security would be in danger following this weekend's events, Agencia Brasil reported. Since the terrorist group Hamas' Oct. 7 attack against Israel, 13 rescue flights have been carried out in the region, in addition to other operations in other conflict-torn areas such as Haiti.

  First batch of Uruguayan evacuees lands in Madrid

  

  The Uruguayan Air Force (FAU) Hercules C-130 transport carrying 80 evacuees from Israel has landed in Madrid, Defense Minister Javier García confirmed in Montevideo. “Glad to have you among us. Welcome to Hercules FAU 594,” García posted on X (formerly Twitter).

  Israel: Pets welcome on Brazilian evacuation flights

The pets shall not be required to produce their International Veterinary Certificate (IVC), it was also explained. Such a document is usually needed in cases of pets coming from other countries.
