  A group of countries and territories led by Denmark and Costa Rica have decided to join forces with regards to a world free from fossil fuels in compliance with the 2015 Paris Agreement under a group named “the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance (BOGA).”

  Polar associations agree on standards for field staff on expedition cruise vessels

  

  Two polar associations have developed standards for field staff working on expedition cruise vessels in polar regions. The Association of Arctic Expeditions Operators, AECO, and the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators, IAATO, agreed on guidelines that have been adopted as industry standards.

  The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO) and the International Association for Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO), in cooperation with Lindblad Expeditions, have found a way for cruise operators to share years of depth soundings from the Arctic and Antarctica.
