    The public dispute in the United States between the Justice Department and Apple continued Monday as the tech giant called on the government to withdraw its demand for help in unlocking a phone used by one of the shooters in December’s terrorist attacks in San Bernardino, Calif., and instead let a commission of experts discuss the issue.

    “Red Card” for 14 FIFA and sports marketing officials

    U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch laid out charges against FIFA officials, who used the US financial system for bribes and kickbacks

    The United States Department of Justice brought charges on racketeering, wire fraud, and money laundering on 14 FIFA and sports marketing officials. Dubbed the “World Cup of corruption” by Richard Weber, chief of the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation unit, the charges are the result of an investigation from the U.S. District Attorney’s office in Eastern New York.
