    Gibraltar with new air links: to Bristol and Morocco

    The Chamber added that re-establishing the first air link between Gibraltar and Tangier in decades was another welcome development.

    The Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the announcement of new air links to the UK and to Morocco, highlighting the tourism and business opportunities they will create. In a statement, it said the addition of the Gibraltar-Bristol route would open up additional markets for visitors, both business people and tourists, from Wales and the south west of England.

    Gibraltar announces discount on passenger dues to attract more cruise vessels

    In a bid to attract more cruise ships to Gibraltar, the Minister for the Port, Neil Costa, has announced changes to the Port Rules, which regulate the amount of discount on passenger dues. The amendment allows ‘repositioning’ calls from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean or vice-versa to benefit from a 100% markdown on passenger dues.
