The first four Brazilian-built single-engined Embraer A-29 Super Tucano aircraft will arrive in Paraguay this Friday, flown by Paraguayan pilots, trained by the manufacturers, Paraguayan Air Force Chief, Gen. Julio Fullaondo, announced Wednesday.

The proposal seeks to expand Law No. 6980/2022 on airspace protection, adding a “Phase III” to existing protocols, which would allow shooting down hostile aircraft as a last resort.
Paraguayan Authorities have issued the necessary paperwork to launch the purchase process of six Brazilian-built Embraer A-29 Super Tucano aircraft to be deployed in security and crime fighting, it was reported in Asunción Thursday.
