  IAATO appoints Tudor Morgan as chair of the organization

  

  The International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO) has appointed Executive Committee member Tudor Morgan to its leading role. Tudor, VP Government and Industry relations at IAATO member operator Hurtigruten Expeditions, takes the reins from Robyn Woodhead, who steps down after five years on the EC, the last one as chair.

  IAATO tests protocols in Antarctic Search and Rescue exercise with RCCNZ

  

  The International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO) and two member operators, Oceanwide Expeditions and Heritage Expeditions, took part in a live Search and Rescue (SAR) Exercise in collaboration with Maritime New Zealand’s Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand (RCCNZ) on Feb. 12.

  IAATO Environmental Manager is former BAS official and 2013 Queen's Polar Medal

  

  The International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO) announced the appointment of Tudor Morgan to the full-time position of Environmental Manager. Tudor’s overall role is to support safe and environmentally responsible tourism to Antarctica, with a particular focus on field operations.
